My spiritual sources are the Bible and the ancient cultures that lived in the region. A disappearing world that I miss which does not exist anymore. I confront this world my way, trying to decode familiar cultural codes from those magic objects that these cultures left behind ".
The idea for this menorah started with Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God created the Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge close to creating the man to teach about the essence of our life: the choice between good and evil. This Tree Menorah is designed with The Tree of Life with the gazelle representing earthiness and materialism on one side, and The Tree of Knowledge with the bird representing spirituality on the other side.
