This Mezuzah case is made of natural Jerusalem
Stone quarried in the Holy Land. It has been polished by hand to bring
out the stone's natural grain and warm hues in much the same way that
was done in ancient times. Into it has been decoratively carved a
portion of the Israeli national anthem "...להיות עם חופשי בארצנו ארץ ציון ירושלים"
Eng. "To be a free nation in our land, the land of Zion and Jerusalem".
The letter "Shin" of the word Jerusalem has also been gilded as a
whimsical reference to the "Shin" traditionally found on the mezuzah
case.
