Cast Aluminum
Hamsa hand by
Shraga Landesman.
The design of the hand is similar to an archeological find from west of Hebron.
There, in a burial cave archeologists found that shape of a hand with Hebrew writing above it. It is possible that this is the most ancient form of The Hand of Fatma. later to become “
Hamsa”.
The back of the Hamsa is decorated with a graphic design of one of Joseph’s dreams describing the large wheat and the small wheat.
Hamsa measures 3 ½”Dia., 4 ¾” long.
Made of aluminum with acrylic paint, no polishing required.
