You will enjoy using these striking Hamsa travelling candlesticks. A picture of Old City Jerusalem in the center has engraved around it, “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her skill.” (Psalms 137). Jerusalem is never far from our thoughts.
The Hamsa shape is an ancient protection symbol. “Hamsa” is connected to the Hebrew word “hamesh” - five. This refers to the five fingers although some claim it hints to the ultimate protection of the Jewish People – the five books of the Torah. The two outer fingers form a gentle dove with crystal eyes – a symbol of loyalty and devotion.

Size: 9 x 7 cm / 3.5" x 2.7"
