Floweres Hamsa Hand by Adina Plastelina. This decorative hamsa hand is designed by Adina Plastelina, an Israeli studio design. The studio uses a special technique, called the Millefiori process, which literally means "a thousand flowers". Millefiori process is an ancient glasswork technique that produces distinctive polished patterns on glassware. In this design, this special technique is applied on polymer clay and pewter. Each piece is individually and painstakingly made to create a unique item. This lovely hamsa hand is entirely handmade from pewter and polymer clay which gives it its lustrous and radiant appearance. Height: 4.4in. (11cm) Width: 3.6in. (9cm)

Adina Plastelina specializes in the design and crafting of unique jewelry by means of the Millefiori process.

Millefiori is the combination of the Italian words Mille (Thousand) and Fiori (Flowers), a term used for the first time around the 1850, yet the process itself has been in use for about 2,000 years.
Now, two thousand years later
, the talented craftsman of Adina Plastelina, have revived this technique and applied it to Polymer Clay. The play of colors, shapes and patterns, joined together with materials such as silver & gold , transform these pieces into handmade, individual works of art, no two of which are identical.
