This Challah cover is designed by one of Israel's finest artists Yair Emanuel. This beautiful Challah cover is made of appliquéd hand-woven raw silk forming delicate decorations including crowns. According to tradition two loaves of Challah are covered before Shabbat comes in. The Challah cover is embroidered in Hebrew with the words Shabbat and holiday (Shabbat ve'yom tov).
